Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your Sim meet another Sim and introduce themself.
What happens when the bug occurs? The relationship goes up really rapidly, almost to friends, from just an introduction.
What do you expect to see? Sim relationships should not increase this rapidly.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

As I was testing my observation that the vanilla sea shells and chocolate caviar dish was not vegetarian-safe, I noticed something else. After the newest update, relationships between Sims are now going up really rapidly. The Sim I was testing the aforementioned observation with started talking to another Sim sitting nearby in the restaurant, and after just an introduction, the relationship bar was instantly a quarter of the way full, almost to friends. It only took one or two more socials for them to be friends. Sim relationships never used to progress this rapidly before.
