[FIXED] [GALLERY] Followers & Followed People are gone/ Low Follower cap

I'm still waiting for the fix as well. Please EA.

Dear EA or anyone who would be willing to listen to ALL of the posters in this thread. We are still waiting for you to FIX what YOU broke. It has been close to a year now. Most of us are running low on the belief that you will step in and help us. I myself have almost gave up on the gallery, I was once a daily poster, a simmer who commented, supported and encouraged all. Now I don't want to go there, its no longer my happy place. I have a feeling there are many many many feeling the same.

EA, c'monnnnn - some transparency PLEASE. I'm so tired of all these bugs.

Nothing on the laundry list about the gallery.

Can you believe it's been almost a year since the gallery last had full functionality? I miss it so much. I went from browsing the gallery almost every day, sometimes for hours, to using it maybe a once a month for 5 minutes if I have to find something specific.

And yet--and this is what amazes me, despite my warnings and protestations--that Simmers keep buying. And buying. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if people continue to buy an inferior product the manufacturer is going to continue producing inferior products.

The only way to fight back and be heard is through the pocketbook. Stop buying! EA will have two choices: live up to their agreement of quality or stop producing / supporting SIMS 4.

I'm seeing this on may 30 2024 and I didn't start out with this issue. But after a bit I developed it. I follow 6 and have 4 followers. Months of likes and follows wasted. I did an experiment where I got to 11 follows and then logged out, back to the original 4. I hope the reason it's taking so long is they're doing a needed gallery overhaul to update it. 

One can see how desperate Maxis is getting with the recent discounted sale of all or nearly all of its add-ons to Sims 4.

"Don't listen to the nay-sayers who regularly post Youtube videos on all the bugs in the newer add-ons."

"We are not giving you what you really want. You should just listen to us: we'll tell you what you want, and you will be happy. Oh, and if we have to keep patching up the game because we didn't do our due diligence before releasing the add-on, well, that's just because we luv you so much that you will thank us for paying for an imperfect add-on that we'll fix later."

Rather, never.

The best part of Sims 4 was the sharing of creators of Sims creations with each other. And Maxis killed it. "Sob, sob. We're sorry that there were just a few cheaters--alleged cheaters--that we've decided to punish ALL OF YOU! Thank you for you continued patronage and continued buying of imperfect add-ons."

I still have not gotten my Friends list back and stand at 0 Followers. Granted I did not lose 48000 followers like some but I did manage to gain 4600 in a little over 2 years. I loved each and every one. What has become apparent to me is EA doesn't take this seriously. They would rather make new expansion packs and such so we can buy those rather than fix what is broken with what we have now. 

The Gallery has been messed up for a long time. I personally have been patient with it. The Sims 4 game has been messed up for a long time. I have gone through completely losing my packs with no help or reimbursement from EA. I owned every single pack from Sims 4. I had to rebuy them. I asked about my Friends and Followers. The Advisor didn't even know what I was talking about. He had no knowledge of Sims or how it worked.

The only conclusion I can gather from everything is EA isn't going to fix this. Those of us who have lost our lists are simply forgotten. EA just wants their money and to heck with their players. Big Corp wins again.
