I have 13 cuttings, which all now say "Garden Cutting" and have no "original plant" name anymore.
I can't tell what they are so I don't know what to splice to get potatos and other special plants.

I have the same problem. The solution I use at the moment is to use the graftings right away, without quitting the game. This bug only occurs to me if I quit the game without using them, It's almost like the game forgets them. You could also just make some new plants to experiment which grafting is which. It will be harvestable after a while, and then you can make the plants your planning on having 🙂 Hope this helps until it comes a bug fix.
And suddenly I can't graft some of the plants, that was never a problem before.. I hope there will be a bug fix for this too, especially if this problem occurs to many players.
