Is anyone still seeing this after updating to the latest patch? We believe this should be fixed now.

That would be great if you can share the files requested below:
- Save file \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
-lastCrash.txt in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\-Crash log. To find this: Open Applications/Utilities/Console.app, click Crash Reports, find the one corresponding to Sims 4, right-click, select "Reveal in Finder".

Apologies the crash log step was only for MAC users as you mentioned @seniorkittens that you are on Windows 10 just last crash and save is enough.
I have the same issue, and here are the last crash files I have from trying to launch a lifestyle brand.

Btw, when I tried to DM you, it would not let me and said "Access Denied"
I'm having the same issue over the last few days. Here is the Google share link to the latest crash text file. I think I set it properly that you can view it and get what you need. 🙂
I'm a PC player through Origin, I have never run mods or custom content, and had just never used the playable feature before this week. Hope it helps you get to the bottom of the issue.
