Is anyone still seeing this after updating to the latest patch? We believe this should be fixed now.

I have the same issue with Get Famous, I play on a PC and the only other pack that I have is Four Seasons. I deleted every mod and CC last week and this Tuesday I tried to launch my lifestyle brand in different households but it kept happening. I contacted EA on Twitter and we tried to fix it without success. First, I repaired the game and it didn’t work. Then, I was told to rename the entire Sims 4 folder “Sims 4 backup”, to repair the game and start a new save to try again. The game either crashes directly or an error message appears before it crashes. Apparently the problem comes from the pack so I’m kind of relieved to know that it can be fixed. I hope it will get fixed around the time we get new updates on the base game.
Perhaps, though if I am being entirely honest I am a little nervous about the fact that they attempted to walk you through several fixes that ultimately did not work as opposed to saying "Oh yeah, we are definitely familiar with that issue by now" and having a standard procedure in place for it after seeing posts dating back to at least three weeks ago. Did the person you talked to already know about this bug?
