    Sims who have chosen to forgo the spotlight will no longer gain unwanted fame.

    Fixed in Patch 1.103.250/1.84

    Please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issue,

@SparkyRabbit82 From what I can tell certain actions seem to make the fame messages appear. Selling any kind of craftable like paintings. Same goes for publishing books which makes sense but not if I have opted out of gaining fame. I have yet to confirm if these actions actually gain fame or just produce the messages.
