I still have the issue of milestones disappearing. I play with 2 different families and I lose my milestones not only when I actively visit the first/second family, but also, for example, when I use my first family and I invite Sims of the second family and then I switch to the second family, the Sim of the second family that has been invitated has lost the milestones. I also noticed that if you remove a family from your active families and then you readd it, also in this case all the milestones reset. I think that it's a very complex issue and it's very complicated to figure out when milestones resetting and disappearing will take place. Now I gave up and so I'm continuing to play rotationally even if I know that at some points my milestones will disappear but for sure this bug need to be solved, because unless you do play rotationally, it's a pity to lose one of the most important features of Growing together!
I can now confirm that a played sim who visited my household (for a spooky party) also lost her milestones. Only she lost them, not her mother who was not invited.

@simsimsere That's weird. All the times played sims visit my current lot, they haven't lost milestones. Though it could be that I never initiate the visit, it's something they do autonomously. The milestone loss seems to trigger when you initiate a visit to their lot, your lot, or a community lot. If they initiate it, it seems to be fine. I don't know though. I'm still testing it out.

@DracuAlice2017I think being invited to a party counts as the visit being initiated? It's a relief if autonomous visits don't cause the milestones to disappear. I haven't checked regularly enough to keep track of those.

@simsimsere That's at least what I've observed. I play vanilla (no mods), so for me, there are no mod conflictions when I have these issues.
