I'm not sure if this is the right thread. I saw the patch notes for yesterday's patch where they disabled losing a tooth due to issues it caused with genetics. That said... one of my child sims aged up today (post-patch) and their genetics were really wonky and didn't look anything like their child self or either parent. So I went back to look at the saved household prior to the pack's release (and prior to any lost teeth) then aged them up in CAS --- this time they looked like they had correct genetics that reflected their parents' genetics and lined up with their child appearance. So it seems like loose tooth/ losing teeth has irreparably altered sims genetics. Do we know if there will be a fix that can fix this or is my household just broken and I'll have to start over?
Edit: Also, my sims did not have an active loose tooth moodlet (because the patch disabled this). BUT they had recently lost a tooth prior to yesterday's patch, and their picture in the bottom left corner kept showing a tooth gap - but when I zoomed in on the sim, there wasn't one - so I thought it would still be safe to age them up. Maybe there was a hidden buff at the time of the patch that was for the temporary tooth gap when losing a tooth?
Edit: I went back in to compare the age-up of the sims I uploaded prior to Growing Together and the version of those same sims that I've been playing with (and that have lost teeth). The top row for each is what their genetics should be; the bottom row is what their genetics are now that losing teeth has completely changed them. To help with comparison, I gave each version the same hair style, eyebrows, and shirt.
