After the latest patch this is no longer happening. Glad to see that the deliverer is finally entering the home to place the groceries on a surface instead of in his inventory.
@xriprizzle Sounds like a bug that was first in the game but patched long ago. I just retested my game and the delivery works fine for me.
Have you tested a different house/save game to see if it's related to the house ? Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing mods and try repairing your game ?
I assume you ruled out that they hate the decor as posted in another thread ?
After additional testing I have determined the issue. In most cases the grocery deliverer will enter the house and place the bag down on a surface. However, there are time (a lot actually) where the deliverer will attempt to simply place the bag down where he is standing instead of coming in. Because the house in question has a small porch (only 2x2) he has nowhere to place the bag and thus it ends up in his inventory. I have tested this for a couple of days now and have altered other houses to have a smaller porch to see what will happen. The results were the same when I did this. I believe a coding (most likely just a small script) change needs to be made to force the deliverer inside in order to resolve this. I don't expect to ever see this change, so I will just continue to use MCCC as a workaround.
