    Sims love baking cakes and they love baking and decorating them together with other Sims in a group. They didn’t love that they could not add toppers or candles to them though, but they can now. So have your Sims bake a cake, top it off, and eat it too.

    Fixed in Patch 1.82.99/1.50

@Jessycaz  Same question to you: was the cake made by a group or a single sim?

    The cake was made by two sims cooking together. I had the birthday boy make another cake on his own and I could add candles to that one

      @Alldara I tested with 1 sim and had no issues. Which cake did you make ? Any mods/cc ?

        I have no add-ons etc.

        Happens to me every time more than one sim makes ANY cake. Including chocolate, hamburger, white, tiered black/white etc. Even if a sim starts cooking solo, then I make another sim join them, the bug prevents me adding any candles/toppers.

        If a single sim makes the cake from start to finish, it works fine to add toppers and candles.
