What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Packs except Realm of Magic, Journey To Batuu, and most of the Kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1) Start a new save with a new sim 2) Make the sim a scientist 3) Join the Sim at work in the Scientist Career 4) Click on the Invention Constructor and select Chat With Robot 5) Click on Invention Constructor again and select Invent Device 6) Invent Momentum Conserver and watch the Invention Constructor in action
What happens when the bug occurs? The animations on the invention constructor do not play. When my sim does Chat With Robot, the robot does not move or react. When she does Invent Device...,the initial hologram blueprint appears around my Sim but the parts creation and the lasers and smoke do not play. The Invention just appears in the center if the Invention Constructor.
