[FIXED] [GTW] [S] Sim switches to incorrect Skin when frozen

My black sims turn white and my white sims turn black after freezing. After awhile they return to their correct skin tone but it’s weird!

It is still happening, the sims turn black instead of blue. Very weird. After some time it turn normal again. It is not game breaking, but really strange and annoying. 

Still having this in May 2023.

Additionally the Sim who was frozen is in the household and, despite the fact that he's not currently frozen, I get alerts that he's freezing to death.

ResetSim cheat didn't fix either the skin tone change or the "freezing to death" notice. In CAS, his skin tone shows as what it had been.

This happened in the same save when my scientist Sim froze a coworker. Eventually the coworker showed up with her usual skin tone.

EDIT: after a day or two, my Sim returned from work with his usual skin tone and no more freezing notifications. That said, there's no reason this bug should still be happening.

It's now June of 2023 and this bug is still happening in my game.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the Freeze Ray option through the SimRay
What happens when the bug occurs? The skin color changes of the sim that was frozen after they thaw.
What do you expect to see? I assume their color isn't supposed to change and if it did it would be blue if the weather was cold, but their skin color wouldn't change permanently
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I still have this bug  Judith Ward looked a bit to tan after she was frozen

I cloned my sim and shot him with a freeze ray. When my clone melted he swapped races. I tried it again and the same thing happened. Not game breaking but mildly annoying. Is there anything i can do or is this a developer issue?

As of May 2024, this still happens pretty consistently. The chill effects from Seasons work fine, but the freeze ray causes them to change skin colour temporarily.

I have frozen other Sims several times but no one has changed color until after I added Discover University and Outdoor Retreat.
