[FIXED] [GTW] Tasks UI for Active Career is broken (especially with scenarios)

    The work task interface for your active career should no longer clash with the Scenario interface when joining a career and moving to the work place at the time of work.

    Fixed in Patch 1.85.203/1.55

I will caution though that using the freebuild workaround, while it does work to solve this UI issue, if freebuild is enabled during the Making Money scenario it will cause a LastException when using build mode on lots that your Sim doesn't own, and possibly other issues. The Sims After Dark team believes it has to do with the Scenario goal being unable to track the Sim's funds while freebuild is enabled.

For reference, the error caused in this situation looks like this in an mccc error report:

  • Last Module Called: test_variants.py
  • Last Function Called: _get_value
  • Error message: Exception raised while trying to run a test event in test_events.py: (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'sim_id'), CategoryID: test_variants:1327

Yeah I noticed the LastEcception and after sharing it in discord I was told that cheat was causing issues because of the scenario, but it resets when you leave the lot, so it didn’t seem to cause any serious issues, as I only use this cheat while at the active career where there’s no need for the scenario to check my funds anyways.
