I've merged your post with the existing bug report.
It seems to happen if you re-stock the item.
Try selling the mannequin and place a new one. Then refrain from using restock.

i have read this whole thread, and i dont restock anymore but like @SuperKamakasy64 said it also does the same problem when you "dress mannequin" i know i can re buy the mannequin, however if i do my store is just continuously losing money.. i guess i will have to play without them until this can be fixed. (this also happens with my bakeries)
What exactly happens in your bakeries ?
my sims will make tons of food, put them for sale, sell a few. if i save, go to a different house to go and buy them, all the food will be gone
That's actually supposed to be fixed. Did you update your game ?
