@crinrict Yes, but the reason was my corrupted save. In a new save the problem is gone and hair settings are persistent. Nevertheless, corruption after the two recent patches may be the reason of some problems described in this thread. I noticed that my save was broken when not only hair settings but also newly bought items and plants disappeared after travelling.
