The trait tells you that you can't go back but yet there is an option to go back .. bit confused.
The same thing happens to me. Even when I send her alone she still gets expelled - how can the game be so broken?
I started a new file and made sure that I did not go to the school on the holiday. That was a mistake, the game did not prompt me but on the calendar it is marked as a "busy" day for school. Thankfully, the new file is fine and the problem has not occurred since. Of course, the problem needs to be addressed, but if the problem persists try a new file and avoid the school on holidays. Hope that helps. : )
