    Sims that confront their fear of the dark will not continue to be affected by the Afraid of the Dark Scared Moodlet buff.

    Fixed in Patch 1.97.42/1.73

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? University Living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim develop Fear of the Dark, cure it, then wait
What happens when the bug occurs? The "Looming Dread" moodlet returns despite the fear being cured (and no longer displayed in Simology)
What do you expect to see? See above
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
