[FIXED] [HSY] Sims can only wear their graduation outfit, nothing else!

I moved the sim out of my household and it fixed it. They were still on the lot so I got to add them right back, after I saw they had their normal outfit

This bug still exist now and its super dumb just put your sims to bed and its fixes itself. still needs to be addressed and fixed hopefully it does when they update in march 

for the first time since HSY was released i was finally able to send my sims to graduation however since then the two sims ive sent cannot change out of their graduation gowns?

i've disabled all mods/cc, updated and repaired my game and nothing is working.

in CAS it's fine, their outfits are all there but then in live mode the only option in change out for every single outfit selection is the grad gown? the shoes and accessories are fine, it's just the clothes and the hat? 

i reported it four times on EA help and they said they were looking into it but it's been a week and it's still not working and it is literally only those two sims out of the 5 in my households? 

Hello!  This happened in my game recently and a friend shared this thread, so I did some testing.  In my game, the bug occurred when my graduating sim traveled home while wearing the cap and gown.  This happened with and without mods, so I do think it's a bug related to the graduation ceremony event.  As others have said, the bug resolved itself overnight while the sim was sleeping.  By in-game morning, all the saved outfits were available; no cap and gown options.

First, I was playing with mods and noticed NPCs leaving the ceremony early (I don't know if this is mod-related but maybe).  I sent my household home, then saved and exited.  The next day, I went into the game to see my recent graduate only had options to wear the cap and gown, as previously reported by others.

After getting a link to this post, I recovered a save from before the ceremony started and tested without mods.  At the end of the ceremony, my graduate changed into formal wear (what he was wearing before the ceremony started); no bug with outfits.

In another test without mods, I had my graduate leave the ceremony early while still wearing the cap and gown.  Once the household was home, the bug with only cap and gown outfits occurred and resolved itself while everyone was sleeping.  I creepily watched my graduate sleeping in his cap and noticed the cap disappeared around 5 am in-game.

Adding mods back didn't seem to change anything.  In one playthrough, the graduate changed outfits at the end of the ceremony; no bug.  In another playthrough, the graduate left early and went home; the bug occurred and resolved while sleeping.

Hello, I’m not sure if anybody resolved this on their own yet but I found the solution! If you have mccc you can click the affected sim go to MC cheats> Cheat Sim Info> Mood/Buff/Control>Remove Buff. Click “ok” on pop up and after that you’ll have to search for two buffs. One will say graduation outfit hat and the other will say graduation outfit robe. Remove them both and outfits should return to normal. Hope this helps 🙂.
