    Set your boundaries! There should be fewer invitations to become BFF with other Sims.

    Fixed in Patch 1.101.290/1.81

I am having this problem as well. My teen sim started doing romantic interactions with Jeb. He then barged into the house in the middle of the night and asked my sim's mom to go steady! I don't even believe my sim's mom actually knew the guy as well! Since this occurred I've had Jeb randomly show up to the house twice again asking the sim's father and then the sim himself to be best friends. Super strange bug.
