Set your boundaries! There should be fewer invitations to become BFF with other Sims.

Me too. They just walk right in... I locked the door and that kept them out.
But the constant asking to be bffs is annoying because the reaction is so dramatic if they are told no. Aaaaaah teenagers
I’ve done that but then had sims show up at their work and ask, or wait until my sim goes out to check the mail 😭 hasn’t seemed to happen since the last update though so maybe it’s fixed
Getting this too, the only way to shut it down was to go in options > Pack Settings > turn off "NPC Relationship Autonomy".
The line of people having the same problem is long, but I'll queue in regardless.
Sims I barely met barge into my house uninvited and ask to be BFF.
To add insult to injury since I tend to live in a micro house where relationship changes are doubled and one of the first traits I usually aim for is from the relationship aspiration that means a lot of the guys go from "Good Friend" to "Despised" with no stops in between for daring to deny that request.
Happens at the very least three times a day (sim was new in town) and I stopped counting after the 20th time ...
