Set your boundaries! There should be fewer invitations to become BFF with other Sims.

Hi Consol player ps5, this bug is ongoing, I just bought HS years and immediately got swarmed with sims trying to be my bff. Yes I have the private dwelling on, they don’t care, they interrupt my sim while he’s gardening which is a problem because he is a farmer, that’s literally his workplace, then when he turns them down they get mad and it damages the friendship which is just ridiculous because he HAS a best friend already! It’s his husband, sorry besties. This is particularly annoying because my sim has the friend of the world reward trait and a pristine reputation from get famous and he’s a two star celebrity. My sim knows a LOT of people and everyone wants to be his friend so now every time he steps foot outside his house, they can’t come in cuz I locked the doors, they swarm him, it’s like the walking dead out there! For now I’m just gonna turn the NPC initiate relationship feature off but it’s a bummer it’s unusable like so many other things in this game, looking at you eco lifestyle and round walls. Packs I have: everything but werewolves and of course the stuff not released yet. Consol: ps5. Yes private dwelling on
Does turning the NPC initiate relationship feature off stop them from invading?
I also have the same problem as the people here... RANDOM sims come into the dwelling UNINVITED asking to be best friends or to move in together! I do Not require this to happen. We need to know how to stop this from happening as it happens to every household I make new or if I play an existing one. (Now I'm having problems loading a household when created... 🙄😢)
