[FIXED] [HSY] Video Game Streamer: Not getting paid when working from home

Bumping this up because it is still happening with both of the part time jobs in the high school years pack.

The siminfluencer and video game streamer careers do not get paid properly if a sim works from home for the day.  They get paid $10 simoleons per day if they work from home. If i send a sim into work, that sim gets their correct salary.

I don't use mods or any CC. Plus there are a lot of videos on youtube from gamechangers who show these are broken. Their comment sections have a great deal of people saying it is broken for them too. So I know it isn't just a handful of people. 

@EA_Cade  Any updates on this?  These careers have been broken since HSY launched. I would love it if they one day worked. 

I can confirm I too am having this problem. 

I have given up hope of them ever fixing the  video game streaming career and the influencer career.

EA promoted the 2 careers as selling points for the high school years expansion.  Yet they have never worked. It has been broken since the day that the expansion pack launched. So many game changers mentioned it even during their early access. I have seen it posted about many times on reddit, youtube, twitter, discord, and many other places.

EA just keeps ignoring those asking for a fix for this.

I am not going to be buying any more content until EA starts fixing their game.  I love the sims games, but I am really sick of the problems with them. 

@EA_Cade Are you guys ever going to fix these careers? 

I have experienced this too, but at least my teens were getting promoted.  However, if I kept the career when they aged up, the notification is "... boss was disappointed with the work she did from home and she made $11," and the performance goes down.  I have seen this happen on two different saves this month.

I came here to see if there has been a fix or some response from EA on why sims do not get paid while live streaming. The pop up says they should be getting paid so I’m clueless as to why this isn’t working.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a simmer join the Gamer Side hustle career that came with HSY. I had my sim join as a YA.
What happens when the bug occurs? When my sim streams they do not earn tips. They will get $10 when working from home (which is the point right?) when their hourly rate is $43. When I send my sim to work they get their full pay. I just had my sim do the "read chat" interaction through the career and she is getting tips and the animation looks like she is gaming. Could this be an error in the code? I have seen on reddit many users have the same issue. None of them reported gaining tips through reading chat however.
What do you expect to see? My sim gain tips through the process of livestreaming as indicated in the pop-up and gameplay description. The option to work from home should allow for my sim to be paid in accordance as going to work with the addition of receiving tips for livestreaming. Please fix this. This worked when the pack first released and now it no longer functions as it should.

Side note - I have played with and without mods and the same results. I have repaired my game as well. I hope this is fixed so simmers can work from home and earn the same pay as going to work with addition of earning tips. Another key feature of a pack that has somehow broke since release and I have no idea which patch or pack release broke this.
