[FIXED] [IL] Invisible Beach Towels on Low Lighting Settings

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.52.100.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy Mode
What happens when the bug occurs? All beach towels are invisible - New ones i try to place and ones already placed on community lots and other lots. You can click and interact with them but you cannot see them. No mods - Affects all worlds
What do you expect to see? Beach Towels - haha
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Downloaded Island Living - But beach towels are only available through this expansion, so this is logical.

All beach towels are invisible - New ones i try to place and ones already placed on community lots and other lots. You can click and interact with them but you cannot see them.

No mods - Affects all worlds

Game Repaired - Issue still present

    Beach Towels are now visible when the lighting is set to low settings.

    Fixed in Patch 1.54.120

    I had the same problem.

    Beach towels didn't seem.

    I changed the light settings from low to medium.

    My problem has improved.

    Now they seem.

    Did you restart? I didn't realise I'd changed it before I commented, turns out I needed to restart lol now I can see them

    Go to your The sims4 folder in Documents and delete these three files.
    Options and Events - both looks like a cogwheel - and localthumbcache.package file.  Don't worry - the game will recreate it when you will turn up it.
    Then go to the Origin/library - right click on TS4 - option "repair game".
    For me, it worked.
    I'm not sure which of these files was responsible for invisible towels - probably options- but because by the way, it improved the smoothness of the game, I can recommend this procedure.

    Beach Towels are now visible when the lighting is set to low settings.
