Same issue, only seems to arise after one of my mermaids have been sleeping in the water for a bit.

Mine seems to be happening more after shes been out of the water after awhile and the fish scale moodlet appears. It doesnt go away ever and makes it looks like she needs hydration replenishment.

    Same issue as marto1.   Now both my mermaids in the family are having the exact same thing.  

    Went into save and manage world then back again and they are both fixed.
