Invites from NPCs to social events at venues will no longer end seconds after your Sim arrives at the venue.
Fixed in Patch 1.54.120 .. or at least I hope so. Let me know if you're still having issues.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Base, outdoor retreat, seasons, vintage glamour, and parenthood.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim invite your sim to granite falls park or on any outing (museum, karaoke, etc.) and the sim that invited your playable sim will disappear almost immediately after arrival.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim that invited my sim disappears immediately after arrival to the intended venue. When it's family hangout time, the sim that invited my sim to their house is not there. My sim wonders around their home alone.
What do you expect to see? We arrive together, as the sim will meet you there. We arrive together. They have the group symbol above their head. We interact with each other, walk inside the venue together, the sim should be home when invited to the home.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
