Invites from NPCs to social events at venues will no longer end seconds after your Sim arrives at the venue.
Fixed in Patch 1.54.120 .. or at least I hope so. Let me know if you're still having issues.
My sims, for the issue that I was speaking of, are teens but this issue happens in any age bracket. The teens my sims know, only have school while some adult sims work and then there are others who are unemployed. This still doesn't explain why the timer for the outing or date disappears and there are various ones. One is, Hanging with Family, Another is Hanging with Friends and the other is Date. For each one, the timer disappears despite whether the sim has a job or not. I would add pictures but the file system on the site says my images are too large 🤨
