- Children looking for discarded toys in the trash will no longer find themselves "discarded." They should no longer become invisible upon completing the interaction.

My child sim turns invisible after she goes rummaging for discarded toys as well. Here's a video of it happening.. and fixing her after sending her to shower/bathe.
I first noticed this after the July 14th 2016 patch.
It started happening after the 7/14 patch. No CC/Mods - game repaired - took folder out - tried everything many times to fix. Even saved family and started new game - same thing happened. Taking a shower makes them visible again but this is game breaking and I stopped playing - just paid for a stuff pack so kids can collect Voidcritter cards but they now go invisible when try to do so.
I experienced the same problem. Having the child change outfits at a dresser made them visible again. This was just before the most recent patch with the outfit picker; I haven't tested again since then.
I'm on Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite), all expansions and packs, no mods or CC (ever).

why does it take so long to fix this bug
my sims-kids still cannot searc for their voidcritter-cards
as long as they cannot come out of the bin again
(only as some kind of a ghosty-plumbob-thing)
yesterdays patch did not solve this problem at all
so come on EA

It happened after the last patch. No cc clothing involved.
Can't do any further tests, 'cause both children grew up to teenagers now 😉 .
this is also happening to my sims-kids over and over again
even when starting a new game
and without any cc at all
they just don't come out
only their plumbob does
must be a bug
