[FIXED] [LDSP] Off-The-Grid: Wash Bin unable to be cleaned

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.52.100.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Island Living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have the Wash Tub from laundry day out and do a few loads of laundry in it. The water gets dirty with time/multiple loads.
What happens when the bug occurs? In spite of the fact its a tub of water and there's no plumbing involved here, you can't change the water in the wash tub. Instead, you have to delete the object and buy a new one to get rid of stagnant water.
What do you expect to see? As it's, again, not plumbing and arguably you could "pour out" the water in the tub and refill it manually (wash tubs and boards aren't exactly the pinnacle of modern technology), I'd expect the option to change the water to be available in Off-the-Grid mode.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

While I suppose it's probably not a bug so much as an oversight, similar to a few of the candle/lantern options in lighting, I'd like to be able to have my sim do her laundry off the grid with the wash tub to fill out the experience some.

    @Jeanieus I'm merging this with the current bug report.

    It's unclear at this point if it really is a bug but as you can't clean other plumbing appliances, it's probably a bug.

    @katzali You want the "ICEBox Vintage Refrigerator" seems to be the least buggy of the off the grid items 😉

    @BansheesHeart I have been using the washtub for a few days and while it does have the critters floating over it most of the time there doesn't seem to be an impact on the cleanliness of the clothes. (I have even managed to get a positive moodlet a few times). I always add in flowers though.

    I did get "filthy clothes" the first two times I used it but I assumed that had more to do with me interrupting the cleaning cycle.

    I have the same issue - PC version, washtub can't be emptied off the grid and that seems counter intuitive.  (no mods)  Also my clothes aren't drying and stay damp so I thought perhaps there was an over all laundry glitch but I'll search for that topic separately, just thought it worth mentioning in case theses issues come as a pair?

    and EA for the record there are gas fridge's that work on natural gas and Liquid propane that do not need power.

    I'd make a separate post for laundry not drying off the grid actually, but yeah, this isn't fixed yet.

    It's not mentioned exclusively but I'm hoping this: 

    • Sims can now clean dirty sinks that work Off the Grid 

    includes the wash tubs
