Thanks for responding. Yes, I do have some mods in my game. I was able to change the houses with the fix once I moved the residents in and out. Unfortunately, I was not able to change the cinema since cinema isn't even listed in the choices. This small problem is not enough for me to start messing with my mods taking them in and out to find the culprit if any. I can live with it.
- crinrict7 years agoHero+@jessallie Mods need updating with patches and I'm guessing some mod that brought that cinema lot type to your game is no longer working. You should take it out or update.

Ok, I took every single mod out of my game. When back to the cinema and there still was no choice for cinema or movie theater at all so I had to leave it as a bar. So it was not any of my mods. Unfortunately, the fix can only be applied to residential since no one lives at the theater and I can't sell it.

I wanted to post here again to just put it out there that for me, the lots being messed up like this seems to have damaged some of the families living there - even after moving them out, nearly all the bugs I continue to experience in the game (and yes, there's quite a few...) belong to the families whose original homes were affected by this one. I don't know why, but I have about 50 households I play so I feel confident in saying there's a pattern =/
