Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a large extended family that you do not know. Let them die of any cause. The played Sims get Sad moodlet Mourning.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim is sad about the passing of a person the sim and I (sims player) don't even know/remember.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see no change in my game if a person I NEVER met dies somewhere off screen.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

My sims in long games keep being sad about people they never met. How am I sad someone I dont know died? At lest not to the level of mourning that it keep coming up. This is ridiculous thing to happen. If a uncle dies for example a toddler who never met them is now sad for 2 days. Yes I can work to remove the moodlet with gameplay but that's not the answer. Sometimes if the family in question is very large the moodlet crops up over and over several time in a bad week. That's if lots of the unknown sims are around the same age. Sometimes if the kids are had before the Sim gets married the person who they married wont get "mourning" trait when those sims die. This is just silly and annoying.
