over 30 resumed knits and still going I believe I am making progress as when I play their is no longer a 20 second lag on switching characters in the household I just dunno lol.
It now makes sense why this household went so bankrupt while I went away
so after rough 50 plus I decided to keep hit more choices to see how far it went 12 times till the end so my guess they did not give this thing a cap.
have not tested this without MCC yet but definitely a lot of knitting indeed.
I ended up with around or close to 200 incomplete jobs. but upon completing a massive chunk of them the household began running normal and autonomy and simulation started acting normal. but my guess as long as you have the basket on you they will keep accumulating and if you are not actually into knitting and forcing them to finish them they will not prioritizing completing unfinished jobs over starting new this could be serious if you are not keeping up with the knitting. those sims will actually clog your game with tons of useless memory and eventually bring instability.
but so far it is not that big a deal since thankfully they cannot do this unless they have a basket in inventory. and you have to seriously neglect your sims on very long lifespans or immortals you will find your neglect will not go unpunished. my memory is fuzzy on ghost but if i recall all items they had go away so we cannot have strange random knitting ghost breaking the game i guess unless you can give them one?
Autonomy does seem quite high for knitting which is how it can get out of hand my actual played household when i was playing usually had 4 to 5 unfinished and i just kept resuming them to complete the aspiration. if you get bored of knitting it seems to be a must to remove the basket.
Few fixes and the pack is okay but this is a serious oversight. Especially for those on slow PC's and Consoles.
if your sim builds up 25 to 30 jobs and you decide you are never going to knit and throw the basket away that excess data is still there killing performance while that sim is loaded maybe because autonomy has to check all the sims data before it decides an action this i am not clear on yet but if so that would seriously explained the constant freezes before cleaning up the jobs because the game remained unchanged even without the basket in inventory like i said my theory was that mass data in the sim was lagging the system and breaking it
