Did you test multiple Sims ?

Hi @crinrict
Thanks for testing in your game. I was actually playing with a brand new Sim who moved in a brand new home with a porch. I placed the rocking chair on the porch and maybe that’s the issue, which shouldn’t, but I haven’t tested it inside yet because I was so busy testing every rocking chair on the porch and then real life was calling. It’s strange though that he can do everything else in it and also stitch, but not knit. He is waving his hand like he can’t do that. If there was anything blocking why would he get up walking to the other basket and go back sitting in the rocking chair to stitch? Strange thing is that he then has a started project available when clicking on the rocking chair again. And if I click on it and say continue knitting, he still can’t do it. I’m on my phone now replying to you. Once I’m back on my computer again I will test in another household with a different house and see what happens.

The rocking chair issue is 50:50 glitchy in my game, I have found no pattern yet.

Ok, so I tested several households today and none of my Sims can knit. I then searched the net and found a post on reddit from 2 month ago which is exactly my issue. I tested what they said at the last post from Hamil_Simp4450 and sure enough my Sims could then knit. When the Sim is already rocking in the chair, chose knitting, and then it works, but not when just sitting in it. Here is the post: Nifty Knitting Glitch
Edits: Typos 🙂
ETA: Here are 2 picture examples I made today with a cc rocking chair, but it also happens with non cc rocking chairs:
In picture 1 I ordered my Sim to knit by clicking on the rocking chair. He walked to the chair to sit in it and then waves his hand.
In picture 2 while sitting I ordered him to rock. He started rocking and then I clicked on the chair again and chosed knit. He then started to knit.
