[FIXED] No super ultra fast speed when working

The super fast speed while sims are at work or asleep seems to be designed that if an NPC sim is on the lot while the only active sim is working or asleep, it will stay on the regular speeds (1-3). It is sometimes inconsistent when the maid visits during the day while the sim is at work, once the maid leaves, the game doesn't always allow the super speed to kick back in, no matter how many times I pause, slow down, speed up or switch between build and live mode. Quite a pain when the active sim is at work for another 7-9 hours.

Are visiting Sim on your lot when you go to work when ultra fast doesn't kick in ?

i have the same problem. ultra speed works when the sims are sleeping.

I've tried it multiple times, with or without visiting Sims (or the maid) on my lot, but it doesn't seem to matter. However i will start a new household and try it out again a couple of times before hiring a maid or letting anyone visiting, to try and find out when this error starts to occur.

While sleeping it does work however. But i do have to press the ultra speed button (or 3 on my keyboard) to make it go super ultra fast.

Hi,

I noticed that when having someone over (not for the night) but just going to sleep/work without sending him home the 'super' speed doesn't start, while sleeping or working. Only if the NPSim leaves on his own(can take 2-3 hours), after a while the 'super' speed starts working (if I hit 1 then 3).

I followed the visitor and the 'super' speed was not engaged until he left the surroundings (he had to leave the place or enter another house) in order to work.

The 'super' speed vanishes also as soon someone you know, enters the surroudings. Especially while working. The NPSim visitor was sometimes not even knocking at my door, but was either jogging around or talking to people.

This way the time just passes ridicoulisly slow, even on '3' because having all options greyed out, you cannot even check your stats, goals, relationships while wokring. 

This just to add a few comments to the problem, got Win 8.1, no MODs.

I have this issue too, although it isn't consistent. Sometimes it will work when theya re sleeping or when everyone is at work/school but other times it wont. It just seems to be the luck of the draw with my game.
