Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load the game and it will show the error code 109:f967dc7f:a56e8082 Then try to load the same household who got you this error code.
What happens when the bug occurs? After receiving this error code, and try to load the household that caused this error code, the game will endlessly load... without resuming...
What do you expect to see? No error code or game that get stuck loading. I was playing in Moodwood Mill and try to play the Volkov household. After loading into another household in another world, I was then able to load into the Volkov household without an issue...
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I am very please with the new patch, my game runs so smoothly with my RTX 4060... it was time to get this update... I just wanted to say something positive because yesterdays update is good, give me the envy to play the game. No more lags when opening the game... very good.
Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title. Removed endless loading from title to prevent people without the error code posting here. Lots of endless loading issues.

Might take awhile as I never go into game files. I'm absolutely terrified I'll mess something up.
I got the error code 109:f967dc7f:a56e8082 while trying to load the game using the last Sim I played. I haven't tried going through load game, tbh, I didn't even think to try it.
The prompt comes up on the Worlds page. It lets me choose a world, but doesn't load the household. It just loads and loads, I say that because it's tips are still scrolling through but doesn't load the household. This makes game unplayable.
I have never used mods or CC. I don't even use testingcheats on. I'm just a plain old Vanilla player. I have 40 DLC and base game all through Steam.

I have relaunched the game. I have rebooted my PC.
This prompt comes up on the worlds page. I can choose a world and go into it. I can choose a household. But that household hangs while loading so then I need to ctrl alt del to end task.
I haven't done anything in the game files. To be honest, I'm afraid I'll break something, so I leave the files to the Devs and game playing to me.
According to Steam I have 40 DLC, I have no mods. I have no CC. I'm a plain Vanilla player who doesn't even use testingcheats on.
The game is now unplayable. Please Help?

I had this error code and endless loading. The fix was easy for me. It is associated with the Off the Grid lot challenge. So you have to enter the home in build mode, disable the lot challenge, return to the world, and then enter live mode.
Having the same thing. Just with my legacy save, (of course the most important save.) Basically, the last save I played before the update. Other saves that haven't been played in awhile appear to load fine.
I can load into build mode just fine on any lot and I can load families I've never played. Just can't load my legacy families except for Mortimer Goths house who I never actually played but did make immortal at some point. He can invite extended family members over but trying to visit any family members on their lots just becomes an infinite loading screen. I do use mods but of course I tried loading with and without mods on.

@crinrictOh that's probably it. Within that whole save, every single new family member is doing a rags to riches run with the off-the-grid lot challenge. I'll do some testing to see what I can do about it and if starting a new save with that lot challenge on is also somehow messed up.

Edit: (all mods removed) yep, turning off all lot challenges allowed me to load into the household. Saving and resume then worked fine. Turning them back on caused the lot to fail load. Starting a new game with those same lot challenges didn't seem to have any problems loading. I'll have to do more testing.. Turn off all current lot challenges and try turning them on one by one to see if it is just off-the-grid or if it's a combiantion of challenges. (pretty sure I have simple living and reduce and recycle on all my lots as well.) And if it's not a combo of lot traits / challenges and is just off-the-grid.. maybe it's a specific electronic item and off-the-grid challenge combo.
