I play on PC.
I normally use mods but they were disabled.
Since the September 2024 update I have been unable to play my main save and I get the attached error code.
It's unable to launch and tells me to restart.
I had tried it previously with updated mods and just got an infinite loading screen.
This has never happened to me before.
Does this mean my save is corrupted? What are my options?

Just came here to say that I am having the same issue - with and without mods - I resolved it by removing the off the grid challenge
I can't get into my current saved household from the main menu (infinite loading screen) and I suspect it's because the lot my family lives on has the off-the-grid lot challenge. How do I disable that the off-the-grid lot challenge if I can't even load into the world my family lives in from the main menu? Hope this isn't a silly question. Should I just uninstall eco lifestyle?
@Jomay88 Manually load into the game using the load option instead of resume. This will load you into the game world but not the lot. Click on your lot you want to change and choose build mode from the menu instead of the play icon. This will allow you to load into the lot and remove the lot challenge in build mode. Go back to world view after turning off the lot challenge and then load into your lot in live mode and everything should work.
Gotta chime in because I ran into a similar problem with a save game from San Maysose... Or some kind of apartment without the off-the-grid lot challenge. It also seem to be happening when I had to buildings in empty lots.
Keep in mind, I had to run my game via Lutris (Steam) on a Linux system.
