Same here! I even did a full reset of my Sims game and it still happens. I can't play my old saves and when I make a new save, it'll have an infinite loading screen at some point. I can't even exit out of my game when it happens, I have to use Task Manager to quit the game. Seriously, why does this happen every time there's a new update? I KNOW this is because of the update because my game was fine before then.
@MissMutatedMango Do the lots you're trying to load have any traits or challenges, for example Off the Grid? That's a known issue:
Other than that, what do you mean by "full reset": factory reset with only saves put back, or something else? If you have any files in Mods (aside from Resource.cfg) or ConfigOverride, please remove them.
If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Wait, is this due to the Off the Grid challenge? Both households I'm trying to load have that challenge!
@MissMutatedMango Yes, if the lots have OtG, that's why they won't load.
So are those saves just lost forever now? My sim is on his home lot where Off the Grid is activated, so is there any way to somehow get rid of that trait? I can't even load into the game to go into build/buy or manage the world. Also thank you for your help!
