Is anyone still seeing this issue after the patch ?
Going to mark this as fixed as the two saves I had for this now work as they should.

I'm having the same problem with Granite Falls. At first my sims traveled there then invited two more sims, then tried to travel within Granite Falls then crashed. After restarting the game and trying to open that same household who was still at Granite Falls, I still crashed. So I had to have them travel to another lot in a non vacation world and finally got no crash. I tried the advice from above about just taking a vacation to Granite Falls with the just household and not inviting friends and a crash happened again. I don't even think I had a chance to select Granite Falls. This blows. I was really looking forward to getting some chamomile from Granite Falls park. Hope they fix this soon.

I have no other households currently on vacation.
The third last crash below I tried with a single household sim.
At one point I went to Granite Falls with just my two household members. No crash occurred as long as I didn't invite any other sims.
