    Photographs taken following today's patch will no longer turn black when stored in the Storage Box.

    Fixed in Patch 1.101.290/1.81

    Please be aware that existing black photos/paintings won't be fixed. If you had another cause and it's still happening, please create a new thread, outlining what you did for the photo/painting to turn black.

I've seen this happen, too.  In my case I just rolled back a save and they were there.  (Whew!)  That may or may not be an option for you, though, depending on when it happened.

Hi, I had this problem in an Apocalypse Challenge save. I couldn't roll a save back though because I had played for 3-4 days before I noticed it. I also noticed that my one of my paintings was showing as a clear HD picture, not a paint from reference.
