- Parent Sims will no longer get stuck standing idly in front of the crib when trying to interact with their sleeping baby.

I'd been searching for a post like this. I ended up creating a new one but my issue is crib/high chair AND playmat. More often on crib and play mat. Nothing can get accomplished b/c of how constantly they pick up the infant.
Is this a bug or is there a way to fix it?
I have moved my sims out of their home into another. No mods/CC but happens with minimal mods as well. I have completed the game repair, deleted appropriate files, all the usual steps and nothing fixes this. It has made my game unplayable when it happens. If the infant does fall asleep b/c moodlets drop that low, then the parent(s) will walk away and complete other actions. They won't do anything else even if directed while this is happening.

I still have this issue and it's worsened to picking the infants up off the playmat and putting them down on the floor (with or without the mat that appears).
They will not complete actions to care for infants leaving them with very low needs.
One family has twin infants. Complete nightmare.
This issue makes infants zero fun and barely playable.
