Hopping in to say this is still a horrible issue. I had a sim STOP GIVING BIRTH to pick up an infant for no reason. She was literally at the bassinet after being told to have a baby, squeezing her belly and breathing, then stopped having the baby to pick up an infant.
Please
fix
this.

This is the funniest thread. I get annoyed too. I just went on vacation with lots of people and twins. Nightmare lol I just have the twins play together to be happy and turn off the tv and music when it pops on for one thing. The other things I keep doing over and over until they leave the child alone. It makes it hard to get them taught since they are always tired.

My sims are doing that too. Is so frustrating annoying.
They keep responding to her crying automatically because for some reason the infant overrides disabled autonomy. I can’t have any of my sims do any task because every minute the baby is crying. She gets fed and then a few minutes later is starving already.
Then next thing I see them take her out of the crib walk half way across the apartment and sets her down. Every single time. Even if I que them up for tasks with the baby they take her and set her down at the same spot.
I keep cursing at my sims parents because they are acting like this.if the sim dev team wanted to have infants really annoying they hit the mark. Haha
