[FIXED] [PC/MAC] Massive Lag when entering and exiting BuyBuild Mode

    Since there's only positive feedback on this one here and on X, I'm going to close this one down as it's best to have a fresh start to see who's still affected.

    If you have this issue still please create a new thread and post which platform you are on and also post your specs.

I get massive lag from entering build/ buy mode and going back to live mode. I think some saves are more noticeable then others, haven't figured out a connection as to why that is.

They only thing to "fix it" is to click the settings (...) in the upper right hand corner and then esc. It clears the lag. Same for taking photos (meaning sims taking photos with an in-game camera). The game lags after the photo is taken and clicking the settings and esc help temporarily until they take another photo.

    Another workaround I found in getting rid of the lag was choosing the "cook" option that pulls up the list of recipes to cook on the fridge or clicking "order" on a computer and choosing something that pulls up a menu.
