    Hi everyone,

    A new update is now available on console as well:

    We have a small but important update for you to address some critical issues that affect all players across Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Thank you for your reports and assistance in tracking down these issues.
    - Fixed an issue in which the game crashed or quit upon loading game saves that were created prior to the June 3rd update.
    - Fixed an issue in which Error code 122:1c9cf40 would appear and loaded the Manage World screen and prompted Simmers to restart the game.

    With this, the crashing issue when loading your saves should no longer happen. 🙂

    If you are still experiencing any issues after updating, please, look for a topic describing the same issue your game has or open a new thread .

    I'm also having this issue, but with more symptoms:

    1) The graphic of the turning Plumbob on the load screen is glitching 

    2) Some pack icons and settings icons on the "New Game" screen are messed up

    Pictures attached, but I also took a video. The image for the Plumbob shows as though its only lines, but in the video you can see there are other thumbnail appearing and disappearing.

        Also having the same issue loading my game. I have no CC, no mods, all EPs installed and the game was working before the patch installed.

        It always freezes at least twice before giving me the "The Sims 4 has stopped working" window

      On PS4 (currently wiping an entire console another is available for testing):

      I've noticed similar issue. My game loads to the spalsh screen, I can click "load" & see my game saves fine. Once I select any game save the blue loading screen appears, the green plumbob spins & the help text that bounces across the bottom of the loading screen begins to rotate.

      I have watched the plumbob hang exactly 4 seconds, jag then spin again into the 2nd help text before hard crashing to the PS4 error logging form CE-34878-0. This can be reproduced 100% with 9 of 10 save slots. The 10th is a VERY old save I've kept for sentimental reasons from June 4, 2019.

      Also, my game crashed on trying to start a new game. So as of right now this game is basically unplayable for me. I can't restart if I want to & I'm not convinced that single save from last year would even load a 2nd time, that could have been a fluke. Though even if I could play on that save I wouldn't want to I'd want to restart a whole new game & just import in my Sims off my gallery which I can tell you from recent experience doing this takes literally weeks. I just last night finished creating a fresh game save of all 12 worlds.

      I imported 97 lots, 68 Households & erased ALL townies & their unwanted lots. Doing  so also without using even one single money cheat because testingcheats CANNOT be enabled on a PS4 if you want to earn trophies. So I did it by importing a money tree orchard as a generic lot then having a sim collect 9million Simoleons to then seed every imported household into my game. I started doing this on April 9th. I finished yesterday just in time for the big update!

      And now it might mean absolutely nothing.

      Also, just as an aside I cannot actually even redownload the game right now because the PS4 is sucking all my bandwidth making it impossible to work from home. So I can either download the Sims or work from home on my VPN or physically go into an office where we have been told do not enter unless your take home hardware has basically set itself on fire.

      This is all frustrating. But I'm going to be honest if my biggest problem in life is my dang game wont load but I have a job & my health who am I to complain?
