[FIXED] [PH] Packed lunches are not eaten

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Parenthood
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim go to work/school with a packed lunch in their inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens..
What do you expect to see? The sims hunger need should go up as well as get a happy moodlet about the packed lunch
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The sims 4 Parenthood comes with a feature to have sims pack a lunch bag to bring to work and school. My sims with it in their inventory no longer eat the lunch and receive the happy moodlet.

    • Packed lunch boxes from inventory are eaten by teen Sims during lunch hours.

    Fixed in Patch 1.110.265/2.01


    This bug is listed as High School Years and for teens while reports where general and for kids as well.

    Please create a new thread if you continue to have issues for kids/adults and outside of high school.

    I'm having the same issue, except they eat it when their work/school passes 12 PM. But when their work, for example, is from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, they don't eat them.

    @YESIMAWEIRDO You were actually able to pack the lunch into the Sims inventory ? Did they fix that without telling us ?

    Could you please check your game version ? Found on the main menu in the lower right corner

    @YESIMAWEIRDO Been a bug for a while now but yes unfortunately packed lunches don't seem to be eaten when a child/teen takes them to school.

    What seems to be happening in my game is that the lunch is only eaten by the kids at school if the sims who don't go to school stay on their home lot. If my 100 baby challenge sim sends her kids to school and then travels off the lot and is away during the lunchtime period, the kids don't eat their lunches. But if she stays home until after lunch, the kids will eat their lunches.

    Needless to say, it's very inconvenient not to be able to leave the lot for several hours unless I want to pay for it by juggling a bunch of starving kids later in the day, when they should be doing their homework instead.
