Plants no longer change their quality or evolve on their own after Sims traveling.

Within my game my plants also keep resetting to dirt piles despite having been excellent quality, in the right season, and outdoors. I tried planting on diffrent lots, removing/or changing traits. There is no mods in my game. This is really annoying because any work put into planting is just randomly reset.
@crinrict I've had a combination of the plants returning to soil and the "seed", while being a bush and now randomly degrading. I'm testing as much as I can and have moved to a family on Normal in Newcrest to see what I can find out.
The eco footprint changes the plant quality quite rapidly, and it doesn't help that the eco footprint itself also changes wildly. I've had my perfect plants drop to nice in half a day, and normal ones go to magnificent over a similar amount of time.
