I have been having a similar issue but the opposite way - magnificent plants will chance to 'nice' quality randomly, rather than keeping their quality after being evolved.

I've also been having to opposite problem. My perfect plants downgrade from nice-magnificent. The last time I saw it happened was after I harvested them. Mind you this is in a closed off greenhouse, but I've been using those planters that water the plants for me so perhaps they are the problem? I don't know, but it's frustrating to have my hard work ruined by a bug. It doesn't matter if they are in or out of season. They ALL seem to be dropping in quality on me.

This is the issue I just noticed. Last night, my plants were "magnificent" and today they have reverted back to "nice". I am using fabricated hydroponic planters for the majority, which made me think that was the connection. However, I have trees planted in purchased pots and they have had the same result. I've used all of my eco fertilizer from my insects and all of my plants are now "nice," even after going through the evolution process.
