Without mods.

  •  The original issue reported by@pessyl92, where adding walls to foundation cuts off part of the foundation, has been fixed in the 12/4/15 patch.  It would be helpful if @timothydescould take a look at his related issues and let us know if he's still seeing the behavior.

I was able to duplicate this behavior in my game.  However, this isn't how I usually build; I usually create the room(s)/main structure of a building prior to adding decks/porches, so I can't comment as to whether this behavior is new or a bug.  It does seem wrong that it should delete one area when you enclose another though.

    Hello.

I discovered a bug with the game when editing pre-existing homes you have built in the Sims4. When this happens, there are no cheats entered.

    Expansions I have:

    - Get to work

    - Spa Day

DESCRIPTION: When making a room using the wall tool, once you make a room, the floor and walls disappear. But not all of them do. It is completely random and does not happen on all my homes. Here is a link to a video of this happening.

My Diag report showed nothing that would cause this to happen, so EA in-game chat support suggested I post it here as they determined it was a bug. Case number: 19829770

    Thank you.

We have had another report of this issue on the forums here, so I believe it is a legitimate bug that is occurring.  I have tried but thus far have been unable to duplicate it.

Edit: and another report here.  Looks like balconies may be part of the cause.  I will do further testing when I get a chance.

Hi! I have not played in a while, so I will make time this weekend to do so. I'm sure there's a few updates I have to do, and will update the post if the issue is still there.  Thanks and happy holidays
