How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.42
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get together, tiny living, eco lifestyle, island living, city living, snowy escape, fitness stuff, cats and dogs, parenthood.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In the makeup section of a female/feminine sims
What happens when the bug occurs? When applying any eye, eyeliner and lipstick it would undo your changes and change the eye makeup to a mac one and give your sim defult eyeliner and no lipstick
What do you expect to see? The make up to be applied without previous changes being undone
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
When applying any diffrent lipstick or eye makeup or even changing swatches it give will change my sims eye makeup to this white swatch for the MAC collection even tho I havent pressed on it.
I’m having the exact same issue. PS4. Restarted playing on console after losing my computer and because EA sucks so much I had to gradually rebuy the packs and this bug has been consistent from the very first sim I made after purchasing the game and going in vanilla. I thought my game was FULLY broken because the walls glitch followed, and I was half in tears thinking I was an idiot. Seriously, it’s innocuous, but it’s incredibly annoying and persistent. One thing I’ve noticed is that changing the opacity slider on any lipstick will trigger the bug pretty easily. It would probably affect other makeup when you use opacity options on them. If I select an option without making any changes to the sliders, it doesn’t force MAC makeup on my sims. This is just me though, idk if it’ll be the same for others.
