Yeah, mine is showing up the same for both prompts ☹️ all I did was talk about ambrosia once, I went to edit a sim and came back with prompts but no task list anymore I've repaired my game I noticed it let me claim the book but I'm not sure why
If you use tool, please remove the mod.

So, builders are completely screwed for the WHOLE event?!
Is this on EA, or TwistedMexi? Is it just TOOL or BetterBuildBuy? I have both.
I play with a pretty ridiculously number of mods/CC, and I also have a habit of playing several households in the "same save" - I do break it up occasionally via recovers/save as, but the played sims are still in every save file. Not sure if that contributes to the glitching, but this event caused my game to crash three times I the middle of playing before the EA app fully restarted and I realized the event was launched for me. I got to see the video, but now NONE of my saves will open live mode. none. even ones from a year ago that I haven't touched.
I've never "played" an event like this before, where you have to do things IN game that unlock rewards. Are mods/cheats even compatible? or would I need to start a new save and remove my entire mods folder? - I DO NOT like doing this, because if any saves accidentally get opened, they break completely. My game was working better than expected, considering the recent patch, until this event launched.
Yeah it was working fine until I got the ambrosia newsletter now I have two black boxes with the little grim on the side.
i have thee same screen as u ive now disabled my script mods but hasnt fixed it
I have this exact issue myself. Couldn’t finish a single task because they disappeared and all i see is a white box with a question mark in a circle. I hope they fix it, I don’t want to lose stuff just because the game is BROKEN.
I have now experienced exactly the same for the last four days after being able to begin the event with no problem. The issue started after claiming the Grimophone.
