    • Sims are once again able to read Magic Tomes. Time to get back to the spellbooks!

    Fixed in Patch 1.108.349/1.97
    Please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issues.

My personal rule #1 before an update: Don't let's [censored] with the occult packs, EA.

So I check for existing issues with those very precious packs. 

I'm so sorry to have discovered a significant one, but also immensely relieved I had in time. I play only with occult sims, primarily sorcerers (casters) so have decided to hold off on the July 2024 update and play offline until the issue is resolved (as well as a few others). As such, I can't Me Too, simply because don't know if I'd experience it. However, I wouldn't like to know. I absolutely refuse to put my darlings at risk, and I can't unsee this.

I'll be following the topic closely (and otherwise anything related), begging soon to see happy occult simmers again. :'(
