Visual effects for Sim Traits in Create a Sim have returned from an unplanned summer holiday.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? ALL EXPANSION PACKS EXCEPT HSY, GRO and HR / ALL GAME PACKS EXCEPT MWS / ALL STUFF PACKS / CKK-IAK-CSK-MCK-FFK-DLK-PPK-ECK-SCK-GRK
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In CAS, choose/create a spellcaster sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? The orb in the animation is gone.
What do you expect to see? The orb there
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Cache is clear and the game is repaired.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes. It happened after I installed the patch 1.99.264.1030
